What is this?

INDEX runs rules-based indexes of the Robinhood Chain market. You go long or short a whole index in one trade, 1x to 5x, against other traders. Every fee buys the coins inside and burns them.

The indexes
The level

Every index opened at 1,000. Every 30 seconds the engine reads the price of each member and moves the level by the average of their moves since the last print. Equal weight: a small coin moves the index as much as a big one. A member without a fresh price keeps its last price until the next print.

Reviews

Four times a day, at 00, 06, 12 and 18 UTC. New coins must clear the entry screens; members stay while they clear the looser maintenance screens and rank inside the buffer, so coins do not flap in and out. The screens โ†’

Trading

Longs face shorts in one book per index; there is no house. Leverage 1x, 2x, 3x or 5x. No liquidation: a position's loss is capped at its size. When one side is bigger, only the matched part moves with the index and the rest waits, fully refundable.

Fees and burns

0.25% of size on open and on close. All of it goes to the index's vault; every hour the vault buys each member on chain and burns it. Burns โ†’

Data

Prices, liquidity, volume and market caps come from the deepest pool of each coin on Robinhood Chain, read through GeckoTerminal. Positions are synthetic: a position follows the level and does not hold the coins.

On chain

Every position lives in one contract on Robinhood Chain: โ€”. Each index has eight pools: long and short at 1x, 2x, 3x and 5x. After each print the keeper posts the level to the contract; opens and closes fill at the pool price right after it, so nobody trades on a level already posted. A print can move the level by 50% at most.

Your exits

Close at any print and claim the ETH from the trade page. An open that has not filled can be cancelled. If the contract gets no print for an hour, anyone can leave at the last pool price, with no fee. Deployer role: pause new opens, set the keeper, add indexes and withdraw.
